HIPAA Breach Notification

New regulations effective September 23, 2009 require all physicians who are covered by HIPAA to notify patients of any breach in security of their medical information.  The AMA produced a 5 page PDF which explains what constitutes a breach, what you need to do, and who you need to notify.  HIPAA Breach Notification Requirements
