CMA’s letter to the Congressional “Super Committee” on Deficit  Reduction and our letter to Chairman Wally Herger (R-CA) requesting that he include a Medicare private contracting option in the Ways and Means Committee recommendations to the Super Committee on Medicare pilot project payment alternatives.  Because private contracting has encountered a great deal of opposition, CMA is attempting to have it started through a pilot project in the Super Committee legislation.  We will continue to push for full authorization as well.  10/12/2011
