Welcome to the Public Section of the

Santa Cruz County Medical Society's web site

The goal of this section is to help the public easily find useful, appropriate, and vetted information concerning medical issues.  All articles are written by local member physicians.  All links are verified by our staff.  You can trust the information you find here just like you trust your own doctor.

The Public part is divided into these sections:

• Childhood Obesity and Nutrition Exchange (C.O.N.E.) Bulletin Board
• Health Care Reform - information and links about the ongoing debate.
• Local Calendar - shows local public medical events.
• Medical Articles - are written by local doctors on a variety of medical issues.
• Medical Resources - is divided into 4 categories which list web sites of medical interest or importance.
• Medicare Issues - information about the GPCI/Locality 99 problems and other Medicare concerns.

Each section has its own master page which lists everything in that section.  Click on the section listings above to go directly to that section's master page.
