The Santa Cruz Monterey Medical Association Foundation

Resilience in Medicine

Resilience in Medicine is a community program offered by the Santa Cruz Monterey Medical Association Foundation (SCMMAF) in partnership with the Santa Cruz Monterey Medical Association. Resilience in Medicine is a physician wellness program designed to help physicians experiencing stress and burnout by providing education, resources, and program services designed to nurture individual resilience, well-being and collegiality.

Committee

The Resilience in Medicine Committee is comprised of physician leaders living and working in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties. The Committee is responsible for managing and developing program policies, recruiting and vetting potential therapists, evaluating program efficacy, and promoting the program within the medical community. The Committee meets each quarter to share best practices and to advise SCMMAF in the creation and implementation of Resilience in Medicine programming. To learn more about the Resilience in Medicine Committee, contact Donna Odryna, Executive Director.
