CMA Urgently Needs Your Help
CMA is sponsoring AB 2400 (Ridley-Thomas) that would prohibit plans from requiring physicians to accept or participate in additional products or networks that offer different reimbursement rates. But, we are in the midst of a legislative struggle with representatives of Blue Cross and Blue Shield, among other health plans, on the bill. These representatives of the plans are asserting that plans should be able to require a physician’s participation in all of their products via ambiguously worded clauses, which are often referred to as “all products clauses.” The results of this survey will be crucial in helping us pass this legislation.
We need physician feedback! Click here to take the survey. It is critical that we receive responses no later than Friday, April 25th.
